Project Gladstone is a sophisticated five x three, incorporating a central courtyard, maximizing the northern sun and its positive effect on the abode.
After reviewing Alex & Jess's site, our concern was that the desired outdoor area location would have been constantly covered by shadow due to the large neighbouring trees. As a result we suggested a courtyard design capturing the northern sun and highlighting the positive effects on the rest of the abode.
Client Review: We were planning on selecting a pre-designed plan from a reputable Perth builder to place on our block. Pretty standard 4x2, with a pool out the back. My wife and I engaged with Sarandy to design us something based on our lifestyle, and boy was this the best decision we made! He challenged our thinking and proposed a “courtyard” design, which essentially placed the pool at the side of the house in order to maximise the sunlight we see. We are very happy with our design and are just about to kick off the build in South Perth. Thank you Sarandy!
